LOVE THESE! In previous projects I have looked at manipulating paper and fabrics; using origami in particular. It proved to be quite successful and my tutors have encouraged me to look into it further as it is one of my strengths.
Industrial interiors. Look at all those hard working objects. Filing cabinets, industrial lights. This reminds me that we need to go through our collection of vintage and antique tools and objects - take some photos and write up some stories to share. Saw this here. See more here.
In my current project, I have been looking into the recycling of old furniture, giving it a new use. I really like the filing cabinet, the old look it has and the feel that it gives to the interior
Having just spent the day with my unique and beautiful sister, i thought this would be an appropriate first post…
so, i’ve made it halfway through the second year of my degree and have yet to start a blog! seeing as the inside of my head is much like the inside of my sewing box…a total mess!…i have decided to start blogging in an attempt to file away the mess!!
i am a design student studying textiles at the Arts University College Bournemouth, specialising in print and stitch. i am inspired by anything and everything….most of which you will see in this blog!
i like trashy reality tv, the colour lime green, raw lemons and monster munch (not at the same time!)
my hobbies include going to bingo, sailing and forgetting the night before….
